GENDER-AFFIRMING AREOLA TATTOOING IN NEWCASTLE
For trans and non-binary people who have had top surgery, areola tattooing can be a meaningful final step — one that brings the body closer to how it should always have looked. Amanda Jo offers specialist gender-affirming areola tattooing in Newcastle, with an inclusive, experienced and completely non-judgmental approach.
What is gender-affirming areola tattooing?
After top surgery, the chest is reshaped - but the areola and nipple may be repositioned, resized, or reconstructed in a way that doesn't yet feel fully right. Areola tattooing allows Amanda to work with colour, shape, size and positioning to create a result that feels authentic to you.
Using 3D shading and realism art techniques, Amanda builds realistic depth and tone - not a flat result, but something that genuinely looks like part of you. Every treatment is completely bespoke, designed around your anatomy, your skin and your preferences.

This service is for trans men, non-binary people and anyone who has had top surgery and wants to enhance or restore the appearance of the areola. You may want to:
• Restore colour and definition to a reconstructed or repositioned areola
• Adjust the size, shape or placement of the areola appearance
• Add 3D depth and realism to a flat surgical result
• Complete a transition journey that top surgery started
You don't need to explain your journey or your reasons to Amanda. She'll simply ask what you want and work with you to achieve it.
